About Bxrderless

Bxrderless is a climate tech start up enabled by geospatial data supplied by Digital Earth Africa Sandbox, machine intelligence and supplementary market related data.

We aim to be a catalyst for climate action using earth observation data.

The Borderless software provides insight into the current state of affairs to ensure tangible impact while placing the well-being of the environment and people at the core. Thus giving entities the autonomy to maximise impact by contextualising climate resiliency.

Teams will be required to solve challenges related to climate issues, API innovation and Data Visualisation against the themes below.

NB: Bxrderless (Pty) Ltd will retain the Intellectual Property (IP) of the solutions at the end of the hackathon. Winning team members have the opportunity to be founding team members of Bxrderless's Dev Team by joining the Product Development Incubation period (3 months).

Frequently Asked Questions

You are expected to make use of technological tools (mainly open source) to create tech solutions during the hackathon weekend.
There are no means for virtual support at this point, confirmed teams are expected to be at the physical venue.
It is not recommended to work alone, try form a team of up to 5 members maximum.
Yes but you are expected to work on at least one feature during the hackathon.
Food and refreshments will be provided for during the hackathon.
